It has been a long and hard year, I had to make some tough decisions regarding my major, and ultimatly, career goal. I've also met a lot of amazing people that I now have to say goodbye too. I am moving out of Dallas permanently (or so my plans currently say, but things can change) and in doing so I have not only had to say goodbye to SMU, but goodbye to In-Sync Exotics and all of the amazing people and cats there. Everyone has been very nice in letting my volunteer and learn so much. Just in case you have not heard of In-Sync (which, sadly, you probably haven't) they are a non-profit exotic cat rescue located in Wylie, Texas, which is just outside of Dallas. They are home to over 60 cats, most of which were the victims of unseemly abuse. Awareness is one of the best ways to stop things like this from happening, so educate yourselves, and just stop by and say hi at http://insyncexotics.com/ there you can also find a link to their blog, facebook and twitter. Leave the cats some love from me.
This is Aasha, she has some of the prettiest eyes in the world.
Tigers, or any other exotic animal do not make good pets. Please, never think that they do. They may be cute, but they still have big teeth, as Aasha can attest to--
